ГНСС

GNSS stands for Global Navigation Satellite System. It refers to a network of satellites that work together to provide geospatial positioning information, which allows users to determine their exact location on Earth (latitude, longitude, and altitude). GNSS is commonly used in applications like GPS, navigation systems, mapping, and surveying.

Some of the most well-known GNSS systems include:

  1. GPS (Global Positioning System) – Operated by the United States.
  2. GLONASS – Operated by Russia.
  3. Galileo – Operated by the European Union.
  4. BeiDou – Operated by China.

These systems consist of constellations of satellites orbiting the Earth, ground control stations, and user receivers. By measuring the time it takes for signals to travel from multiple satellites to the receiver, GNSS can accurately determine the user’s position.
